Paul Mosley is a writer, educator, and designer. He is an assistant professor of architecture and urban design in the College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED) at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He also currently serves as gallery coordinator of the Armstong Gallery.

Paul’s architectural design and teaching focuses on renewing architecture’s urban relevance as a catalyst for environmental restoration, and often engages with other disciplines including anthropology, environmental history, and landscape architecture. His work and writing have been published in Log, Thresholds, Architect’s Newspaper, Drawing Matter, and elsewhere (see publications).

He was previously project coordinator at Marlon Blackwell Architects (2019-2022), designer at the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (2018-2019), designer and project manager for the Visionary Cities Project (2014-2017), and assistant editor at Log in New York City (2017). He holds an MS in Architecture and an MA in Design Criticism from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), and a BArch from the Fay Jones School of Architecture.
